Wang Ruohui aka Nerissa Wang, is a Chinese composer, singer, songwriter, and dancer. She can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and English. Nerissa is one of the two founding members of the ZALEM Studio and a founding member of the electro-pop band Ananke. 

 

As a singer, she has been working in China, UK, and toured the world (USA, Australia, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Korea, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia,…) alongside her several cooperations with well-known super stars such as David Tao, Zitao Huang, Hua Chenyu, Jacky Cheung, Roy Wang from TF Boys, … 

 

She appeared in prime time TV/streaming programs, including The Coming One (season 2, Tencent Video 2018), Come Sing With Me (episode 8, Hunan TV 2018), I’m a Songwriter (season1, iQiyi Video 2019), The Big Band (lyricist for Haya Band on season 2, iQiyi 2020).

 

As a composer and songwriter, Nerissa has her own production team. She works regularly with Chinese traditional instrument musicians (Erhu, Guzheng, Matouqin, Pipa, Bamboo Flute, Guqin, …), did several studio sessions with Beijing’s International Master Philharmonic Orchestra,  has a rooster of Chinese and foreign modern musicians based in China (Pop, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Electronic, Metal, …) and has access to professional recording studios in Beijing, including her own ZALEM Studio dedicated to composing and producing music.
